My kids and grandson are OK. I do not have any other pets. I do think dogs are cool. (I'd rather have a cheetah though.)
Would you rather have the trust of a dog or a human?
For me and my luck with some people lately ? I'd rather have the trust of a good dog. They won't ever bad mouth you to others or stab you in the back. Wish I still had my Hound! We were buds!
My wife and children would be first choice.
Fortunately, my dog seconds their opinion---just unsought validation.

A human but I have neither :( I'm my own trusted friend.
I am going to say in most cases the dog, but which human would factor in. My mom or husband would be over the dog.

A Human. Dogs are great but they cannot help you with DIY, or type a letter, make a meal, or run you a bath.
I love dogs and I believe that if we treat them correctly or love them, then we can trust them. About humans, it is not the same, they have mind, so it is not easy to trust humans, as we don't know what they think of us.
A dog....definitely a dog. Loyalty and unconditional love all wrapped up in a furry package. Doesn't get any better than that 🐶
