When you are at the beach are you the one in the water swimming, making sand castles, playing a sport, surfing, sun bathing, hiding under an umbrella, shopping the beach shops or staying home?

I'm always in the water. When I'm not, I'm under an umbrella.

I don't surf, and sunbathing will only get me in trouble with my dermatologist. (I have had skin cancer removed twice already.) I only build sandcastles if I go with a small child. Other than staying home, I am game for all the rest. Actually I am usually walking the dogs. We are actually going in a couple of days.

I don't go to the beach.

Not going in that water. Who wants sand in places that it shouldn't be? It's too hot. Sun causes skin problems. Oh, it's too hot.

I'm timidly swimming...still trying to be confident in the water after not swimming for most of my life.

Part sun and part shade, everything in moderation and lots of sunscreen.

I love to build sandcastles.  I run into the water periodically to stay cool.

I've never been to the beach. But I wouldn't be swimming because I don't know how.
