Aching bones, saggy skin, wrinkles, less bladder control, hair loss, memory loss, velcro sneakers, more medications and your tattoos take on a whole other meaning. They'll start to look like the melting clocks in Salvador Dali paintings.
Now that I'm older (59 next week), it seems like there are things that I can't eat any longer. Also, my sleeping pattern is changing. What else can I look forward to?
Balance problems
All the ones Hippy mentioned gets worse the older you get.
Happy early birthday!!!!!! ☺😊😆☺😊😆😊☺😆
I'm younger but I've noticed that I'm slower. Also takes longer to heal. Because of all this I'm losing my sense of humor, and I'm starting to get an attitude with the young ones. With their healthy bodies and their quick reflexes. I'm tired of finding my breasts in my armpit. Ughh...
So I'm saggy and I have a tude.
Have a wonderful Birthday, Danae.
I'm with you, this aging business keeps unveiling new surprises all the time.
In addition to the delights already mentioned, random spots .... I'm beginning to feel like a Dalmatian.
Happy early birthday !!!🎂

Soon you will be ordering off the seniors menu, not because you are a senior, but because you cannot eat regular portions! :) But... On the bright side, you can start to get deals. Tell the hotel you are a senior, you get a discount. In many places you get lower priced bus passes if you are a senior. When I buy something, or go somewhere I always say "I am a senior, do I get a discount or get something free?" Works wonders!! :)
On the plus side, the hair on your legs slow their growth rate so you can weeks without shaving. That of course frees time up so you can pluck the multiplying chin hairs.
You will learn a new exercise called "Go Backs". That is where you go to the other end of the house to get something. Then forget what you wanted, you turn around and go back to where you were only to remember what you wanted. Repeat as necessary.
Your memory fails to the point that you meer new people every day, usually the same one that you met yesterday.
The early bird special at Denny's gets more appealing
You used to set timers for appointments on your smart phone. In a couple of years you will asking your grandkids to program your phone so alarms go off at medication time.
You start to wonder if you put away enough for your retirement, or should you learn how to make a a tear jerker cardboard sign.
You read the obituarys daily but are afraid when someone your age or younger has past.
You start to wonder which would be better for you and yours if you were planted or toasted when you pass. (Funeral vs Cremation).
You spend more time praying and visiting your doctor and/or hospital than socializing.
