One topic I personally enjoy is the homework questions...good refresher. Several people here know lots of history, and I appreciate that opportunity for learning. This site also explores philosophy-of-life questions, and I love those too - although they can be a learning experience for us not to let them devolve into squabbles.

I personally appreciate exploring this site as a different way of developing friendships, also...the quality of human connection possible when you will most likely never meet the person, nor even hear their voice. So we have lots of "filler" questions - such as what do you like, which do you prefer, what do you think about...where are you from, etc.

Also, I get lots of my book suggestions, movies, musical tastes outside my own...cultural stuff that I might never encounter otherwise, broadens your horizons.

I like answering the Earth Sciences questions, because it's a topic I know quite a lot about. I enjoy the general chatty questions too, it's fun to see what people think of to ask :)

For myself, it's mainly history or WW2 history but so many have different types of knowledge here. I enjoy just about all of it myself but try and stay away from politics and religion. Check it out and see what you get. Lot's of book readers here, movie buffs, and you name it.
