If you could have the power of any animal (you don’t transform into the animal, just obtain it’s abilities), what animal would you pick?

I'd like to be able to run like a Cheetah, then I'd compete in the Olympics.

They do have geriatric Olympics Didge. Walkers and canes are banned though.

I actually competed in the World Veterans' Games back in 1987. (I was in the 50-54 agre group.) Wonderful experience centred on Melbourne's Olympic Park, the venue for the 1956 Olympic Games.

There were some wonderful characters including an 80-something Californian lady everybody called Sunbonnet Sue and a geezer named Bill Empey who, at age 91, could still run 100m in 17 seconds. He wouldn't challenge Usain Bolt but I know a lot of young guys who can't do that.

I bumped into Bill on the train coming home to Sydney and said, "You didn't win this year, Bill?" And he said, "No. That young guy from Taiwan can still get down in a crouch start and I couldn't catch him." The young guy was only 90.

THAT sounds awesome. I don't think I could even walk 100m without taking a nap halfway through.

To be able to run as fast as a deer. Parkour would be much easier for me.

Power of a Cat, to do nothing, take no responsibility for anything.

They're lazy, they do nothing, walk all over their owner's home, especially kitchen counter tops, there're never ask to do anything, litter box is changed, clothed, meds and there're still loved, housed and fed. Don't say the other part. LOL

That would be more of a superpower, but if you meant more in terms of physical features, I love wasp wings

I would be even more specific:  Jonathan Livingston Seagull.

While the philosophy is questionable, the concept is way cool.

A meerkat.  I'd love feeling that sense of community devotion and support.

I was at a country zoo a few years ago and while we were watching the meerkats a little kid leaned over too far and his hat fell into their pit. They had a wonderful time with it, putting it on their heads, passing it around, throwing, catching ... and all the time the kid howled in dismay as his hat disappeared. One of the attendants had to go in and retrieve it for him.
