We are equal as for our skills, it's the salary that is unequal. Men get paid more, for doing the same work.
I think the equal pay will come and in some places it has. I have worked in places where you are paid by the job description and the time in the job, no matter what gender you are. I also think it is up to women to ask for a raise. I know many women who have never asked for a raise. They go above and beyond in their job but never ask to be compensated. Men will ask.
It isis a pitty that men earn more for doing the same work. Thanks God, in Iran the situation for women has improved over the lastsame couple of years. It is still far from good but the good news is it has improved. Women earn the same amount of money if they work in a government position or if they work for a large company. But for smaller companies they are still paid less money. I wish women will one day will get their deserved rights. Women are valuable human beings capable of doing anything they want
I think they are equally treated like men , nowadays from small industry to space science women contribution is likely increased , so women are more likely to contribute equal to men .
In many places in the world, I think it will. Whether or not they will be throughout the world depends on how much time us humans have.
Many countries have equal or incredibly near equal standings for men and women. For example, in Iceland, 48% of the people in parliament are female, (in the United States, the percentage is 20.)
Nohhh - they are mainly shorter and unable to lift heavy objects. (Both of which are EXTREMELY important in the modern working environment.)
I'm amazed we let them have the vote and drive cars......
Men and women are built differently. Hence, men will find manual work easier. However, in our modern times and with health and safety, we now have machines which can do the majority of manual labour.
From A Brain Divided - The overall cerebral size of a mans brain is larger than a women's, but there are specific parts that are larger in women. Men outperform women on tasks of visuospatial processing which is a function found in the left inferior parietal lobule. Men tend to use the left side of their brain for verbal reasoning, while women tend to use both cerebral areas for visual, verbal and emotional responses. These differences in brain use cause a difference in behavior between men and women. Women tend to be better at sensing emotional messages in conversations, gestures, and facial expressions, and are thus more sensitive. Women start to speak and read at an earlier age than men and are generally better in verbal skills, such as learning a different language. They tend to have a better grasp on grammar and spelling, and girls have better handwriting than boys do. Women have better sight at night and have a more acute sense of smell, taste and hearing. Men are better in spatial coordination and have a better sense of direction (usually!). They excel in math and are great at interpreting three-dimensional objects. They have a better hand-eye coordination and more precise control of large muscle movement. They have poor peripheral vision but better sight in bright light and a better sense of perspective. Since they use one side of their brain more than the other, they tend to use the left side for verbal reasoning and the right for visual and emotional activities (if they are right handed). These differences are not rules, but have been tested for the majority of participants.
Men tend to have more precise tunnel vision so can focus on one specific thing more intently. Whereas a women's peripheral vision is greater than a man's, they have more visual cone cells in the retina, their angle of view is three to four times greater than a mans, due to the evolutionary changes of a women keeping watch for danger, and looking after her young. And so they are able to foresee incidents much quicker, and carry out more than one thing at a time, multi-task.
So we are equal when we come into balance working with each other.
I certainly think the world is a warmer and more considerate place because of women. A women is pregnant for nine months, she can create and nuture another human within herself, so for any man to ever be considered as great, an even greater woman must first choose to give him life.
Will women ever be considered equal to men in the workplace? I don't think so, to many stereotypes between the sexes, and although men will go on wanting women to have children, some will still make sarcastic comments about maternity leave etc. Women have to balance both family life and their careers. Women in Britain still do not make the same wages as men for the same job.

I think for changing the whole world directly or indirectly woman have a great impact.
At workplace also woman have equal impact though some people disallow woman on workplace but without woman the workplace look like empty.
My own opinion
Yes !
They are certainly equal at the university where I work .... Especially at the professorial level. The women earn as much as their male colleagues (and sometimes more).
