I'm a sunrise person myself. I like the start of a new day with the birds chirping, little critters waking up and running all over the place and mother birds hunting for food for the little ones in the nest.

I'm a night owl, so sunset.
I prefer the sunrise. The start of a new day.
Sunset are peaceful especially when the light comes in thru a bedroom window. So relaxing to fall asleep with the dimming glow
Sunrises are energizing. Awe inspiring to watch while sipping a morning coffee. Wait ! Maybe that's the coffee kicking in.
All that to say...I can't decide between the two

Sun rise. I'm a morning person
I'm always up for the sunrise ready to start a fresh day. So I prefer those more. But I do also enjoy seeing some colorful sunsets.
I absolutely love both of them, but I see more sunrises because I'm an early morning person.
I'm not at all a morning person, but I love sunrises so much that sometimes I randomly get up at 5 a.m. on purpose to see them!
In the last 20 years, I have seen the full sky with the clouds highlighted by the pink of the monring sun twice---and that is a sight I am so pleased to have seen.
In general, I prefer the sunsets---perhaps partially because of the characteristics of the of atmosphere in the evening where I live.
However, perhaps my best all around memory is of a night that extended through the sunrise that a long time female friend of mine and I watched together while sharing a bottle of a German "Jahrhunderts" year wine.
