I could eat a couple pounds of macadamia nuts but my butt would be screaming. I love wildlife and I'll be off work. Oh wait, I'm off every day.

I'm retired, but there's always work to be done.... Darn dust bunnies!

Happy Labor Day for the people that celebrate it!

I'm off on mondays anyhow, but I get off tomorrow because a holiday fell on my day off :-). And as a kid I wanted to me a marine biologist or oceanographer... Fell way short of that , wildlife is the best .

The only work I am doing is the final clean up from the cook out yesterday. And I am fortunate enough to live where I get to see wildlife almost daily. I like it as along as that as long as it is not a venomous snake. (Had one of those a couple of weeks ago.)

Same here. The only venomous snakes we have here in PA. are the Massasauga Rattlesnake (which I've never seen),the Timber Rattlesnake and Copperhead. Which I have seen but not close to the house. I've seen more snakes this year than I have the last 3 or 4 years combined.

My hand was inches from a pygmy rattler as I was pulling weeds. And the dogs were right there with me. i was not thrilled to see, but glad it didn't try to strike.

I'm glad for you and your dog's sake too that it didn't strike. There is nothing settling about those buggers popping up out of nowhere.
