No! I would rather take pictures of my surroundings. The fact I took the picture proves I was there. No need to include myself in the photo.

I don't own one, actually I was given one as a present. When no one was arund I experimented with it and wound up destroying it with a ceiling fan. Fortunately the phone came out of the fray unscathed.

When the selfie stick first came out I thought what a horrible self centered idea. I made fun of it and laughed hysterically everytime I thought of ANYONE possibly ever even wanting one! Then Yang came home from a 6 day run. He said he had a gift that the whole family would love and be able to use. I said "wait a minute! Before you do that I HAVE to tell you about this horrible hideous thing they just came out with for cell phones! Hahaha it's a STICK made specifically for taking selfies! I mean who would be that ridiculously self centered that they would actually buy a STICK so they could take a picture of their self! Hahaha!!! Can you believe it?!?!" And he replied well they could be used so that you could get in the pictures to cuz you are never in any of the pictures we take." I said "no I am not that self centered! Lol! I like it the way it is." And his smile dropped.... As he pulled out a selfie stick from his bag. I felt so bad. He ended up getting rid of it because he knew how I really felt about them. Whooops! Yin and her big mouth!

No. I've only ever taken one selfie and that was to use for an avatar on this site for a short while. So I've never had the use for one. If I did have one, I think ugly stick would be a more suitable name for it.

I would ask other people to hold my camera and take a picture of me. Or I would help other people hold their camera and take pictures of them.
