Restaurant, unless we're talking about the Sterling Buffet in Las Vegas or something. Or a high quality Korean BBQ place where you cook your own meat. Those buffets bring the glutton out of me.

But Restaurants still win.

When you're going out to eat, you're looking for a dining experience. Not to stuff yourself with matter. The ambiance, the decor, the service, and food cooked by passionate people you don't get to taste everyday. That's what you should spend your money on. When I get invited to those cheap buffets, all I see are people stuffing themselves with chow mein or mash potatoes and gravy. Like really?

We suspect a buffet was behind Mr. H's digestive infection.  I don't trust them.  I've seen them add food to the dish that's out, then stir the old and new together.  So... After an entire day of not replacing dishes, how old is that food?

Restaurants for us from now on!  The entire experience is better.

I prefer a restaurant. I just don't like buffets, too many hands in the food.

I love buffets. You can eat all you want. Go back time and again. But you have a tendency to get fat when u sample some of everything, so restraunt actually is better.

It depends on the particular buffet or restaurant. A buffet near me has the absolute best potato dish there...wish I could find the recipie for myself at home.

I don't know what category a Brazilian Steak House falls under, but I sure do like them.

Las Vegas buffets are hard to beat.

Breakfast buffets are also enjoyable occasionally.

On the other hand, it's hard to beat good food, a good waiter, and a good atmosphere at some restaurants.

I guess I'm too wishy-washy to commit myself.

I don't mind a buffet once in a while for lunch, but I really enjoy full service and relaxation when I go out to dinner.  It's more than just the food.

I've only been to a buffet like once. It's not my thing because I can't eat that much in one meal so I don't really take advantage of it. Plus I like being waited on lol. So I definitely prefer restaurants.
