I like to think so, I've crossed International Date Line 6 times.
I'm about to namedrop some places.
I've been to:
France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, Holland, Norway, Finland, Greece, Turkey, Malta, Egypt, Israel, Dubai, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya. Tunisia, India, US, England, Scotland, Ireland, Belgium, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia
I did my 200th takeoff sometime in 1997 (don't know exactly which flight it was, cos I didn't start counting straight away).
Never made it to the far East or Australia/NZ - I've got a few years left yet though...
Most exotic? Bits of India are ....er... "different". Saudi Arabia is barking mad. A safari park in SA was cool too.
I would say yes, I am. I count 43 countries, on 6 continents. Most of them in the last 12 years.
Exotic? Angkor Wat In Cambodia (breathtaking!) comes to mind, and some of the other Buddhist temples in neighboring Thailand, especially one in Bangkok they call the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Really exotic. Thailand also has the most beautiful beaches in the world, bar none.
My favorite “exotic” place is the Old City of Kyoto. Maybe the most beautiful man-made location I have ever seen.
Maybe you detect my fascination for all things Far East.
i don't travel much.
No, I haven't done a lot of traveling. Have been to Canada and Mexico several times and have visited many of the states (but would like to explore the South and the New England states).
The most exotic destination for me was Manzanillo, Mexico .... Best fishing experience of my life!
I wouldn't say well traveled, especially after reading all the places Ray and Don have been, but I have done a fair share. Counting the my home country of the U.S., I have been to 10 countries. In the U.S., I have been to about half of the states.
Most exotic was probably Belize, though I didn't get to explore much there. The Mayan ruins of Tulum in Mexico would be up there as well. They are right on the ocean and at the edge of a jungle.
