Hi Roy! Old books are cool; they can potentially hold a ton of pretty useful information. However, they can also be host to all sorts of bacteria and I definitely wouldn’t like to catch any of these! I would rather get a brand-new book, it will certainly be clean and safe!

I don't like the musty books, but the dusty ones are fine. I like to read mysteries and holding the page in anticipation of what is going to happen next. Older books sometimes make me leery of holding them as I don't want to damage them.

I read a lot of new books, but I really love finding an old gem of a book at a thrift store or yard sale. I love the look, smell, and mystery of an old book .... I always wonder where it's traveled.
I think I've mentioned this before, I like the smell of a musty book and prefer that over a new book or reading electronically.
