How would you counter someone who says it's a woman's fault that a man who pined for her became an alcoholic or went on a murderous rampage because she didn't marry him? Preferably counter without ad hominem attacks.

1. The woman did not pour the alcohol down his throat.

2. No where does it say that if you love someone that they have to love you back.

3. Killing people solves nothing.

I wouldn't say anything but give the person  that "Oh crap - this person is nuts":  And then do my best to not be around him/her anymore.

Why waste words? A simple bulls hit will suffice!

Tell him he's totally and only responsible for his hatred, murderous rampage and evil actions. I would back away from him quickly and immediately sever all contact.

I wouldn't waste my breath. One person is not responsible for another's choices or actions......grow up, grow a set, take responsibility for your own life.

The pain that he felt from her rejecting him may well have been the excuse he chose to begin irresponsible drinking.

But once he chose to "fire the gun" of irresponsible drinking, the damage caused by that bullet became totally his responsibility.
