Depends . . . Regarding my wide-eyed lofty fantasies of my teenage years . . I have yet to star in a Block-buster film with Stallone or Swartsineger . . . So, no. Not from that perspective.
From my adult self of age 30 . . . I am not doing too bad, although I have yet to complete a single book or novel as an author.
No where near where I thought I'd be. However, I am in a much, much better place.
I'm not sure where I expected to be really, and I still have some changes to make to my life. But I'm happier than most, I suspect with where I am.

When I read this question, I immediately started to think of all the negative things I could say, but you know what? I am furthered than I thought I would be in life. It may not be the perfect life, but I'm not dead. I surely thought I was gonna die in 2012 when the Mayan calendar came to an end.

I never planned anything beyond retirement at 65. And then I was going to work indefinitely. Then, over a 4 day period in 2015, my wife and I decided I would retire---I did the following month.
It's been new, unplanned, and lots of fun ever since.
