I'm sorry for your loss. Happened to me as well. There's something about a mother and major holiday gatherings...they do tend to keep the weave of the family together with meals and other social functions.
Sigh.

Yes! My daughter and son in law came over for the weekend. And we also had my daughter's 2 friends today. We tell them all the time we would gladly adopt them if we could. Lol! 😊 I guess you could say I had all 7 of my "kids" together today! 😊 I am still smiling from ear to ear.

Hello!

No, we did not have company. However, we went out to visit
some relatives and friends. We shared chocolate and homemade desserts and got
goodies! It was very fun. I really enjoyed the festive spirit and children
running to you because they know you will give them chocolates and other
candies.

Yeah, all my cousins and one cousin brought her boyfriend and the other cousins , best friend stopped in that is about it for company unless someone else drops in LOL

No, we were the company. My brother and his life host Easter. I will be hosting a Memorial Day cookout though.
