I've been known to munch on a granola bar behind the wheel.  (I live on the edge!)  :)

Hello!

Well, I never eat while driving. Some of you might call me
crazy but I do not do anything that might distract my attention from the road.
This is something I seem to be doing unconsciously. I am also very finicky. I guess
I would be afraid of crumbs or anything else falling in my car.

Rarely. If I do it is something like French fries or chips that I can grab from a bag without looking down. And I am usually on a road trip with the dogs and or by myself and don't go in to a restaurant to eat.

Occasionally I will have a fry or two on the way home from getting a burger and fries.

Anything else is potentially too messy and/or awkward.

I do limit what I eat behind the wheel. (In front of the wheel there is little space anyway.) As a sop to the road safety people, I no longer eat large Christmas dinners whilst driving, (and actually not many small Christmas dinners either.) Lobster thermidore is also difficult, and the butter drips all over the dashboard. I have to tell you that a full English Breakfast (Egg, bacon, tomato, black pudding, mushrooms, baked beans and toast) is also difficult while driving.

I think it's high risk unless ones experiencing Low Blood Sugar but I think eating while driving takes ones eyes off the road and could cause a accident also in Pennsylvania i still see people texting while driving and talking on cell phones i think they should pull over the vehicle to talk or text .
