Yeah, pretty much. Country roads in Oz can be a bit exciting at night, though. It's not the kangaroos, though they can come out of nowhere; it's the darned wombats. Hit one of those and it's like hitting a brick wall.
No 🚘, I'm toooooooo scary.
The only time I find driving challenging is at dusk and if I put my 👓 on its usually ok! I like to drive!
I am with Skip. I have to stick to the roads I know cuz I have night blindness as well.
I hate driving at night. And if it's raining or snowing, forget it!
I use to drive in all kinds of weather conditions, but at night was the least desirable.
No, I do not enjoy driving at night.
Firstly, my city is primitive as far a street lighting goes.
Secondly, I am having night blindness problems and I see very poorly in the dark, even with high beams on.
I use to prior to the advent of L.E.D lights, too bright for my liking.
The best driving experience ever was driving alone across Dartmoor at 3 a.m. Spooky, atmospheric, no other cars, no lights, only the occasional building. Just one village. It's only around 30 miles, but still wonderful.
Night driving in Highland Scotland is good fun too.
No, not at all. I have night blindness so I can't see a thing. I stay off the roads at night.
Depends on where it is and if it's bright enough to see anything beyond headlights.
Some of my favourite rides are at night on my bike ... With a full moon, no traffic on a quiet scenic road .
Yes. It's fun.
It depends on where it is, how well I know the road, and how much moonlight there is. If it a crowded city, no. A country road, in the early summer, with some moonlight, with the top down, and I am in heaven.
Don't really mind on the freeways, well marked and good sight distance. Since my eyes have gotten older, and I have a starter set of cataracts, country roads at night are a bit distressing - especially in the rain. I can drive them, but if you get behind me you had better be patient.
