Paint your bedroom yellow. Kitchen red, with stainless or black appliances and dark cabinets. Bathroom paint Mauve with a solid or matching flower shower curtain.

If you are detecting amps, you have current flowing in the circuit. 

And in a parallel circuit, the current in each branch is determined by the resistance in that branch.

I don't want to guess at what you are trying to find out.

Hippy is right K.B. I watched them redo my back bathroom shower stall and it was really reinforced with wood and acrylic fiberglass like material. Really strong and looks great !

I would go with medium tone gray/blue walls. You can the print off copies of album covers and frame them in black frames. Get  Navy and white bedspread.
