In the family car during night drives I would watch for the moon. I thought that my family was special and the moon was following us. ( I was maybe 4 or 5 yrs old at the time ) jokingly, my parents didn't correct me on this and actually encouraged my belief of moon people.

I remember, when very young, hearing a news report about somebody who would die unless certain expensive drugs were provided. I couldn't believe that a pharmaceutical company would not supply those drugs freely to save his life.

That had other connotations, of course but i came to realise that, except for the person concerned and their family, life isn't necessarily valued very highly,.

I didn't accuse you of lying, Sudo, I said you are a liar. Quite lost you are in your puny charade. We aren't fooled, only put off that you persist.

By all means speak your mind, but spare us the lame "I am a dragon" foolishness.

My brother had told me a story when I was a child of the world's shortest man. He was the size of a can and played the blues. Even my parents went along with it. It wasn't until I was 12, when we were in a museum. There was a life-size picture of the world's shortest man next to the world's tallest man. I can never become a lawyer now.

The tooth fairy. I thought it was real till one night I caught my mom trying to get the tooth under my pillow. She said she was helping the fairy and I shouldn't tell my younger cousin who was spending the night. I did get 5 bucks for it  :)

Teeheehee!!! I use to tell my kids the tooth fairy uses their teeth to make stars in the sky so if they wanted to see their teeth in the sky they had to brush them and make them really shiny! Lol!
