Oh yeah. Summer is a big wave out the window of the truck. Country people I find are more expressively friendlier. 👋

Yes, my sister in law is one of them.

I'm shy so I usually will only wave if they wave at me first.

There's a new couple on our street who have walked by our house before with their dog. My mom was out in the front yard one time when they walked by and waved to them. They barely even looked at her; they looked annoyed that she was being pleasant. Some neighbors are not worth waving too.

I do when I see them. But, they are a lot younger than we are and not much happening there. One couple even said once they didn't realize there was old people next door.:(

Sometimes. I don't see them a lot because our houses aren't real close together. One neighbor on the side of me has tall pine trees blocking their house.

Yes, if they are outside when I drive by. The closest one is a little over two miles away. Maybe a mile and a half as the crow flies.

We are close but not super close to our neighbors.

We were all young couples building our houses just 28 years ago . . . And then as we had children, they grew up together and played flashlight-tag, Hide and go seek, kick ball, whiffle ball, and swam in each other's pools . . . We babysat for each other, and they went to each other's birthdays . . . Now the kids are all grown up, but keep in contact on Facebook . . . My wife joins the other mothers every morning to walk a couple miles and catch up on how the kids are doing.
