They're probably have issues (i.e drug abuse, alcoholics, PTSD etc.) My childhood best friend who I've known since kindergarten attempted to murder his sister when he was 15 due to child abuse trauma, betrayal, drug abuse, alcohol and failed. He then committed suicide seconds later.
